Comments: The arrival of the new Principal / Director, Shaun Williams, a couple of years ago has brought enormous changes to the culture of the school. All these changes seem to be focused on one thing and one  thing  only  ­  increasing  the  profit  margin  of  the  owner.  This  has  turned  what once was a school with a great community feel with good relations between parents, teachers, and administration, to an institution which is growing far too quickly. The head of secondary has been great at holding his own, and creating a good community among the teachers, the head of primary less so. Teachers  reports  are  mixed.  The  ones  who  are  happiest  are  ones  who  were  interviewed  and hired by the new principal. In years past the primary and secondary heads interviewed and hired some very nice and capable teachers. The new criteria for hiring teachers appears to include a cynicism which can be very difficult to deal with. Morale is especially low on the primary campus. If you are a British national you will be treated, not with respect, but at least with a sense of being in the right club. Teachers from other countries should just stay away.
