SUBJECT: Avenue 39 opening DATE: March 15, 2016 After much anticipation, Avenue 39 is opening up to connect Jefferson St. with Adams St. This will provide an additional route to enter and exit Shadow Hills. We anticipate this will alleviate some of the congestion that occurs during our busiest times. The connecting road will be open when students return from Spring Break on April 4. As a result, there will be changes made to the traffic patterns on Avenue 39.

Once the road is open, you will no longer be able to enter Shadow Hills from the entrance closest to the theater. What used to be an entrance will now be an exit only section. There will be two lanes exiting the school at that location, one to go east on Avenue 39, and one to go west. If you are driving west on Avenue 39 from Jefferson, you will continue past the first entrance and now use the second entrance. Enter lane or make a U-turn here
