Position Description Roles and Responsibilities This Project Manager will help promote the mission and vision of the Statesboro High School Marching Blue Devils to the local community. Duties may include: managing social media sites, development and distribution of monthly or quarterly print newsletters, development and distribution of monthly e-newsletters, development and updating organizational brochures, and researching, proposal and execution of fundraising ideas, and promotion of special events such as the East Ga Regional Band Festival (for example- the oldest and longest running Band Festival in the state).

Preferred Academic Areas or Skills Computer Graphics Journalism Public Relations Writing Photography (Possibly) Principles of Marketing and/or Advertising Goals and Objectives To increase public knowledge and fan base of the Marching Blue Devils, which operates as a 501(3)C, funding needs for instruments, repairs, uniforms, props, shows, along with promotion and marketing of events . Securing in kind donations and fundraising are a very important part of how the organization operations in order to keep the activity fees the members pay low while maintaining a high quality show that wins competitions.
