Sociocracy for Intentional Communities • Workshop with Diana Leafe Christian

• April 28-29-30

• Asheville, NC Area

Are you curious about the next level in governing ourselves? Are you part of a group or community that's ready to take the next step toward effective governance and decision-making? These are the times! Sociocracy (aka Dynamic Self Governance) is an exceptionally effective governance and decision-making method for intentional communities and member-led groups. When all 8 parts of Sociocracy’s are used and used correctly, the benefits are: (1) Better, shorter and fewer meetings, (2) Getting more done, (3) Being better organized, (4) Less stress, and (5) Enhanced connection and well-being among community members. This unique workshop consists of verbal/visual presentations, “reader’s theater” musical skits, short preview videos to see beforehand (and afterwards, as a review), a comprehensive handbook, and lots of smallgroup practice so participants can “learn it in their bones.” You WILL be able to implement it! If you are serious about having a successful community with as much ease and grace as possible this full training is a must – for you and as many of your group as can attend. Come and learn how to be the change you wish to see. BIO: Internationally sought after community consultant and conference speaker, Diana Leafe Christian is author of “Creating a Life Together: Practical Tools to Grow Ecovillages and Intentional Communities” which has been translated into six languages. She formerly published “Ecovillage” newsletter and edited “Communities” magazine for 14 years. This is the first, 3-day full training she has offered in the Asheville area in years. Don't miss the opportunity to experience it!
