S&P U.S. Preferred Stock Index Consultation S&P Dow Jones Indices (SPDJI) is conducting a consultation with members of the investment community on potential changes to the S&P U.S. Preferred Stock Index. Currently, the methodology limits the maximum weight per issuer to 10% of the index market capitalization at the time of each rebalance. SPDJI is considering changing the maximum weight per issuer to 5% of the index market capitalization at the time of each rebalance. Note the index does not limit the number of preferred stocks issued by a single company. All eligible securities for an issuer are included in the index, with the aggregate weight capped on a pro rata basis. Your participation in this consultation is important as we gather information from various market participants in order to properly evaluate your views and preferences.
