Willis–Volper Scholarship 2018 Application Announcement & Instructions February 1, 2018 Announcement: The Scholarship Committee of Suffolk Presbyterian Church USA, welcomes applicants the opportunity to be awarded the Willis-Volper Scholarship in the amount of $3,000 ($1,500 per year for two years of successful study). Please see the Suffolk Public Schools scholarship hub for a copy of the application and instructions. Instructions: Completed applications and all requested information are to be addressed and mailed to Suffolk Presbyterian Church, Scholarship Committee, 410 N. Broad St., Suffolk, VA 23434. They must be postmarked no later than midnight March 31, 2018. Due to time constraints late/incomplete applications cannot be considered. Scholarship History: Brenda Beamon Willis Scholarship: Established in 1987 by the generous donation of Violet Pond and C. B. Pond Jr. in memory of Mrs. Pond’s daughter, for whom the scholarship was named. A. C. Volper Scholarship: Established in 1989, is awarded to the glory of God and in loving memory of Mr. and Mrs. Volper by their daughter Edith Volper Buttafoco.
