I certify that I have read the rules and regulations governing the participation in Women’s International Tennis Singapore (WITS) Tennis League, and in signing this waiver agree to abide by all the rules and regulations as set down in the WITS Rules Booklet. Sportsmanship, ethics and integrity are the expectation of all players participating in the WITS competition. Any unsportsmanlike behaviour will not be tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly by the WITS Committee. I have no physical or medical condition, which, to my knowledge, would endanger others or myself in the participation of the League, or would interfere with my participation in competitive tennis. For myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and legal representatives, I agree to waive, release and discharge any and all rights and claims, direct or consequential, for personal injury or death, and/or for property damage, including claims concerning damage sustained by, but not limited to negligence, that may arise from my participation in Women’s International Tennis Singapore. By signing this document, I also indemnify Women’s International Tennis Singapore (WITS), committee members, organizers, their successors and assigns of said organizations, and the sponsors of Women’s International Tennis Singapore (WITS) from any and all liability, claims and damages whatsoever that may arise from my participation in the league. Participation in competitive tennis when pregnant may involve risks. WITS strongly recommends that pregnant players regularly obtain and act on medical advice regarding their continued participation in WITS and when to discontinue participation.

THIS RELEASE AND INDEMNITY IS A CONTRACT WITH LEGAL CONSEQUENCES. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING.

All players prior to playing in any WITS matches must sign waiver forms. Any matches played by players without a signed waiver form will be nullified and the player in question will be ineligible for trophy awards.
