Information for Students and Parents / Caregivers Start of Term 1 2017 Please make a note of the following times and activities, then keep this sheet in a safe place. It contains important information about when Naenae College re-opens for your child in 2017.

Senior Students Course Confirmation
Course confirmation for Year 11, 12 and 13 students with their Whanau Heads and HOFs. All 2017 Year 11, 12 and 13 students report to the Library to confirm their courses. Years 12 and 13 students should bring their NZQA results with them. Priority will be given to students completing course confirmation and once courses are full, students will be placed by Whanau Heads in other courses that have space. 9.00am 9.30am 11.00am 12.30pm 9.30am – 12 noon
Prefects and Mentors to confirm courses before their meetings below Students with surnames beginning A-I Students with surnames beginning J-Q Students with surnames beginning R-Z All Prefects to meet with Mr Russell in P15 Ms Renata meets with all Mentors in the Wharenui
TUESDAY 31 JANUARY
School Opens for Year 9 students
8.30am
Prefects and Year 9 mentors meet in Wharenui and help set up the Paepae.
8.45am
All Year 9 students, new students to the College at all other year levels and
whanau are welcome and should assemble at the main gate. 9.00am
Powhiri commences. Morning tea will be provided following the powhiri, after which Year 9 students will follow a planned programme for the day. Lunch will be provided for Year 9 students. Year 9 mentors with Roopu all day.

All students are reminded of the need to arrive at school at the times stated below in immaculate full school uniform, along with a pen. Year 9 students will also need to bring their PE gear.

10.15am All Year 11 LARs to IT workshops in rooms 15, 16, 17 & 18 Year 12 to LAR and then library to confirm courses if needed. Otherwise in LAR. Once complete, Year 12 Mentors to join Year 9 Roopu
