The last school week in December proved very busy in the Guidance Department. Beginning December 19, there were 3 days of visits to the Middle School to see the 8th grade science classes. During these visits, guidance counselors explained the differences between MS and HS. They also reviewed what a transcript is, what credits are, and a general overview of the HS attendance policy. In addition, Tuesday December 20 was the 6th annual Alumni Panel. During the panel, many WSHS alumni spoke to interested juniors and seniors about the application process, “what to expect when you get to college,” and “what they wish they knew then, that they know now. “ On Wednesday December 21, students were invited to attend the 3rd career seminar in the series being offered this year. This month’s seminar is based on the “Arts” and will have various speakers from the professional world.
