Designed around recent input from Region 3’s superintendents and instructional leaders, participants will leave with:  the confidence to work with their district teams to further explore and determine the most appropriate student growth measure(s) for their district.  a working knowledge of PA 173’s mandated student growth and assessment data requirements,  an overview of several models of student growth including their advantages & disadvantages & unique applicability to certain instructional and demographic factors (including SLOs and SGPs),  information on where to find on-line tools to calculate growth and other on-line resources Superintendents and district/school instructional decision makers are encouraged to attend.
