The undersigned is directed .to refer to GS/NFIR's letter No.III/DR/z/Part.III dated L7.oT.2otSon the abovementionedsubjectand to statethat the three EDs' Committeeconstitutedat Board'soffice hasgoneinto the aspectof improving the specificationof the cloth of uniform and shoes and purchasemethodologywith the objectiveof supply of quality product to eligible railway employees.The aforesaidCommitteereviewedthe ertant instructions on specificationsin the DressRegulation2oo4. Variousmeeting with both the federationswere held by the Uniform Committeeand the Committeeframed their recommendationsin consultationwith both the Federations(AIRF and NFIR). The Committee'srecommendationshave been put up for obtaining Board's approval. Thereafter,as acceptedby Board, these recommendations will be circulatedall over Indian Railwaysfor implementation.
