Suzanne Brown, Trustee

Suzanne Brown is one of the newest members of the Board, starting her tenure in May of 2017. Mrs. Brown does contract event planning with Dallas Fan Fares, Inc. Mrs. Brown has been married to Trey Brown for 16 years and is happy to call Burnet home. The Browns have one son, Hayden, who attends Burnet Middle School. She serves on the Bluebonnet Festival Executive Committee, where she has served as Chair for two years and Co-Chair for one year. Mrs. Brown has been a long-time volunteer with BCISD, as well as serving on the Student Health Advisory Committee and the District Advisory Committee. Mrs. Brown and her husband both are graduates of the University of Texas and are huge Longhorn fans. They enjoy attending their son’s sports events and when not busy with other activities, they enjoy traveling, visiting museums, and the theatre. When asked why she serves on the Board, Mrs. Brown stated “I am excited for the opportunity to contribute to BCISD’s mission of ‘Crafting the Future’.” “As a mom of a BCISD student, I feel it is important to bring the parent’s perspective to the Board for the benefit of all students.”
