professional
artists.

characteristic? Tandem Créatif is intended for emerging artists who create with their difference: their special needs. Whether it is the professional artist or the emerging artist with special needs, they both learn about creation, about difference and about the world around him. It is therefore about bringing a pair together that will cocreate regularly over a period of several months. Each Tandem Créatif is accompanied by a mediator who attends every session to ensure everything goes smoothly and that a flowing dialogue is maintained between the professional artist and the emerging special needs artist.

Through visual arts, Tandem Créatif fosters the personal development, the citizen participation and the social inclusion of emerging artists, stigmatized as having special needs. The purpose is also to reduce the gap between the professional environment and the emerging artists with an intellectual deficiency by establishing connections with the professional artistic world.
