Representationsare pouring into the Federation's Office that inter Railway transfer requestsof staff seeking of posting on the North Westem Railway and from North Western Railway to other ZonesUnits are not being consideredbecauseof Board's instructionsto this effect. In this connection, NFIR desires to state that it would be incorrect to deny the inter Railway mutual trinsfer applicationsof staffbetweenNorth WesternRailway and other Zonesas acceptanceof such requestswould in no .way causeadministrativedifficulty. In this connection, Federation invites Board's attention to its letter No. E(NG)I-20041TN16 dated 1410812007 wherein mutual transfer applications of staff are required to be approved if the employees seeking mutual exchangetransfer belong to the same category (i.e. Generalwith General, SC with SC and ST with ST). NFIR, therefore,requeststhe Railway Board to issuesuitableclarificatory instructionsto all Zones, PUs etc., including N.W. Railway so that the staff seeking such mutual transfers from/to North WesternRailway do not suffer. A copy of the instructionsissuedmay be endorsedto the Federation. Yours faithfull
