Transferring an Audio file from an Ipad to Google Drive:  You will need the app QuickVoice or one that records audio and the Google Drive App. Open the App.

Select the recording.

Click the share icon at the bottom of the screen

Choose Open in…

Select Open in Drive

Click Upload

Login to Google Docs and go to your drive. Locate the audio file you uploaded and double click it.

To listen, click the play button. To download to your computer, click the arrow.

If you are using Google Chrome it will download to the bottom left hand corner. On the bottom right hand side you should see Show all downloads. Click on that.

This will open your download folder.

To save the recording to your desktop make sure your window is small enough to see the desktop. If you can’t see your desktop and the window at the same time, click on the Restore Down button in the top right hand side of the screen.

You should be able to see both.

Click on the name of the recording and drag to your desktop.

You should now see your recording on your desktop.

If you are using Internet Explorer it will download to the bottom of your screen. Click the arrow next to Save.

Click Save as.

Now select where you would like to save the file. Then click Save.
