Transferring your ID from Onename to the Blockstack Browser

1. Download and Install Blockstack If you have already installed Blockstack, skip to step 3, otherwise you will need to install the latest version of Blockstack here:  https://blockstack.org/install

2. Go through Blockstack on-boarding process Once you open Blockstack, you will be: a. Asked to pick a new password to secure your identity.  b. Given a new identity key which you should write down and store safely  c. Asked to provide your email. d. Asked to select a storage provider.

3. Begin name transfer process a. Click on “IDs”, then click “more”.

b. Click the three dots in the bottom right corner of the box.

c. Then click “transfer username from Onename to this ID”.

4. Sign in to Onename Sign in to onename.com with your Onename email and password - not what you used for the Blockstack Browser.

5. Re-enter Onename password The “destination bitcoin address” fields should be populated automatically if you are redirected automatically from the Blockstack Browser. Enter your Onename password and click “export”.

6. Confirm Export Click “I Understand” and after the export has been processed (can take up to 48 hrs) you can go back to Blockstack and your name will appear on the browser.
