Here's another thing animals need to raise their babies quickly because the cold comes quickly there. Their babies might die in the winter so that's why they raise quickly.

Did you know the plants in the tundra are mostly all dark colors so then they absorb heat from the sun? Did you know plants cannot stretch their Roots very far because there's the tundras refrigerator which is called permafrost ? It is a thick layer of of ice even water can't soak through the ground because the permafrost is so thick and frozen it just can't soak through.

Do you know the tundra only gets about 10 inches to 25 centimeter of rain all year ? The sun in the tundra stays out all day and all night it is called the Land of the Midnight Sun because the sun stays out through the whole entire day. It can get down to -93°F brr that's that's cold! That's colder than it is up here in Maine that's insanely crazy. The wind can get up to 60 Miles per hour that's crazy to right? The tundra is a very cold place you know so you have to bundle up and make sure that your warm so you don't get cold and then complain that your cold.
