Seven miles south of downtown Salem and a few miles east of the I-5 corridor, Turner is entering its second century with a vision to develop a self sustaining community through an involved citizenry and City staff committed to keeping their needs the top priority. Named for founder Henry Turner, the city is home to Aldersgate Camps & Retreats, the 140 year old Oregon Christian Convention Tabernacle, and Turner Retirement Homes.
