Tzouanakis Intermediate School Traffic Flow Car Entrance/Exit Procedures        

 

It is important to know that there is only one way in/out of TZ for car traffic. All cars will enter and exit the school grounds from Arlington Street or Ritter Avenue. The entrance/exit to TZ is a two-lane drive. Please refer to the diagram below for the traffic flow. There are painted directional arrows and other markers to assist with the traffic flow. Cars should stay to the right and drive slowly entering the school grounds. There is a solid yellow line to show the two-lane traffic flow. Cars dropping off/picking up students at arrival (7:40-7:55) and dismissal (2:55) times should stay to the right driving slowly along the curb all the way up to the south end of the building where there is solid white bar painted on the pavement. Students should exit vehicles on the passenger side. This is for the safety of the student as cars pull around on the drivers’ side to exit. Once the student is out of vehicle, please follow the arrows directing you to make a left turn, driving through the staff parking lot #1. Follow the arrows to exit at Arlington Street or Ritter Avenue.
