EXT. MOUNT EBOTT - DAY The outside is sunny and there is a lot of wind. You see CHARA, a kid with a bowl cut, wearing a green sweatshirt and brown khakis, and is known for his risky moves and being malevolent, stands over a cliff overlooking a huge icy mountain. CHARA starts running down the cliff and into a huge cave by the side of the mountain. INT. MOUNT EBOTT - DAY The interior of the mountain is very rocky and is lit up by gemstones. CHARA runs and trips on a vine and falls to the ground. CHARA Whew! That was a close one! The ground starts cracking. CHARA Oh no! The ground falls below him. CHARA AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! He falls to the bottom floor and is knocked unconscious.

BEGIN TITLES The screen fades in to a black screen, and you see a logo of Undertale, and then you hear a smash. END TITLES FADE IN: INT. MOUNT EBOTT - DAY You see FRISK, a kid who looks like CHARA, only except he is wearing a purple sweater instead of green, and that he is well known for his compassion and hatred of violence, laying down on a bed of flowers, in a dark cave room. He gets up he looks around. He see a gothic designed gate frame in the distance. He stares at it, trembling. He walks slowly to the door, tiptoeing. He then slowly walks through the gate.

FLOWEY'S ROOM FRISK enters another dark cave-like roon, with grass surrounding the little sunflower with a cute little face, named FLOWEY. FLOWEY seems completely innocent, but has an evil agenda. FLOWEY then sees FRISK, faces him, and then calls him out.

FLOWEY HEY KID! The kid gets frightened, screams, and falls on his back. FRISK Excuse me..uh...are you talking to me? FLOWEY Yeah! Howdy, I'm FLOWEY! FLOWEY the flower! What's your name? FRISK Well..uh...my name is...uh...my name is FRISK. FRISK, being frightened, takes a step back FLOWEY gives a suspicious smile FLOWEY Don't worry. I'm not gonna' bite. You must be new to the Underground, aren't cha? FRISK ...Yes...I am...I don't know what I'm...uh...doing here...uh...Or how I got here...May you please tell me how to get home? FLOWEY Hmmm...Golly! You must be soooooo confused! Someone ought to teach ya how things work around here! Here, come close and I will get cha' home.

FRISK seems a little skeptical FLOWEY smiles back FRISK Uh...Are you sure? FLOWEY Don't cha worry! Just Come here! When did I ever do ya' wrong? FRISK reluctantly comes closer FLOWEY shows a little shining heart to FRISK in his pedals. FLOWEY See this heart? That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being. 4 FLOWEY (CONT'D) PELLETS"! A little white pellet of snow drops. It falls on top of the heart, right on FLOWEY's hand. FRISK watches the pellet fall in awe. FLOWEY You can touch it now. FRISK doesn't move an inch. FLOWEY Don't be shy. Touch it. FRISK reaches out and touches the heart FLOWEY all a sudden turns aggressive and then starts growling and reaching for FRISK FRISK runs back and then falls, facing FLOWEY FLOWEY YOU...IDIOT! IN THIS WORLD, its KILL or BE KILLED! Why would ANYONE pass up an opportunity like this!?! FRISK starts to cry FLOWEY DIE! FLOWEY grabs FRISK, FRISK crying, being helpless FLOWEY grabs FRISK and is about to eat him FRISK cuddles himself into a ball All of a sudden, a fireball comes FLOWEY turns to the fireball - FLOWEY's expression changes FLOWEY Oh no! The fireball hits FLOWEY and FLOWEY flies off with the fireball FRISK uncuddles himself TORIEL, aka caretaker of the ruins, one of the nicest people living in the ruins. Toriel's resembles that of a white furred nubian goat, with droopy ears and short horns. She comes over and hugs FRISK. FRISK hugs back.

TORIEL What a terrible creature torturing such a poor, innocent youth... FRISK continues to cry TORIEL Ah, do not afraid, my child. I am TORIEL, caretaker of the RUINS. I pass through this place every day to see if anyone has fallen down. You are the first human here to come in such a long time. FRISK stops crying and starts to smile

TORIEL Come! I will guide you through the catacombs. TORIEL gets up TORIEL helps FRISK get up TORIEL What is your name, my child? FRISK My name is...uh...Frisk. TORIEL This way Frisk. FRISK and TORIEL walk to another Gothic-like gate frame. INT - THE RUINS - DAY FRISK and TORIEL enter the Ruins. The Ruins is a huge complex corridor with many different rooms and puzzles and is also inhabited with many different monsters. the RUINS are lighted with torches on the walls, and the shadow of the ruins looms above, filling FRISK with determination. Frisk and Toriel walk to the many different rooms in the Ruins, until they finally stop at a room with a 'stepping stone puzzle'.

FRISK looks at the puzzles and starts wondering what to do.

FRISK Uh...Toriel...Ms. Toriel...May you please show the...way...to get..uh... to get back home? TORIEL Your home is here now, innocent one. Allow me to educate you in the operation of the ruins.

TORIEL then steps on 6 different stones in a certain order, with each stone sinking and bouncing up like a button. Then, the door opens. FRISK looks with awe TORIEL The RUINS are full of puzzles. Ancient fusions between diffusions and doorkeys. One must solve them to move from room to room. Please adjust yourself to the sight of them. FRISK looks at the stones for some time. ANOTHER ROOM IN THE RUINS FRISK and TORIEL enter another room in the Ruins. This room is much larger than the other rooms in the Ruins, and has a river flowing inside it. There are 4 switches on the walls, and the walls are filled with vines.

TORIEL To make progress here, you will need to trigger several switches. Do not worry my dear, I will tell you which ones you need to flip. FRISK Uh...I don't know...I don't know if I could do that...

TORIEL Be strong my child. I know you're young, and I know you're afraid, and I am too. But do you know what keeps me going, even death is near? Determination. Determination keeps me going. Without determination, you wouldn't have survived, and so wouldn't have I. Be strong my child, and together, we can survive the RUINS. FRISK lights up and smiles. FRISK begins to look confident and now believes he can take on any challenge.

FRISK I can do this! I can pull the switch! TORIEL Yes you can my child. Now go. Now push that switch. FRISK pushes a yellow switch in the left TORIEL Now that one my child. TORIL points at another switch FRISK pushes another switch in the middle TORIEL Now push that switch and then you'll all done, my child. FRISK pushes another switch. The room starts to rumble. The spikes guarding the other hallway to the other room disappear. FRISK, gets scared. FRISK What's happening? FRISK starts to cry TORIEL Don't worry my child. The traps are deactivating themselves. FRISK continues to cry and starts covering his face with his hands and the room stops rumbling.

FRISK and TORIEL walk into the next room. THE DUMMY ROOM TORIEL and FRISK walk into a room full of dummies. The huge room is cold and dark, with only torches lighting up the room. To not alert all the dummies, TORIEL speaks in low tones, while FRISK talks quietly in general. TORIEL As a human living in the UNDERGROUND, monsters may attack you. You will need to be prepared for this situation. FRISK starts thinking about what TORIEL says and shivers at the thought of it

TORIEL However, worry not! The process is very simple. My child, when you encounter a monster, what do you do? FRISK Uh...Run Away? TORIEL No my child. You must not run away. The monsters in the ruins are skilled in the arts of fighting. You sure will not be able to run.

TORIEL kneels down to FRISK TORIEL You must open your little heart of yours and strike up a friendly conversation. FRISK starts to light up FRISK But...uh...How about fighting? TORIEL You must not fight them. If you (MORE)

9 TORIEL (CONT'D) fight and kill them, your soul, your little heart here... TORIEL points at FRISKS heart, which begins to glow TORIEL Will become corrupted. When your soul becomes corrupted, your body will slowly start to decay yourself, until your are no more. With a corrupted soul, those pure will not help you, for your have a soul full of evil. FRISK starts to question FRISK But...uh....But...What did you do with Flowey then? Did you kill him? TORIEL No, I did not. I merely used my powers to push him to a place far far away, so he can hurt no one. Enough chit chattering, we have to move - flowey and the other monsters may be coming back soon. TORIEL gets up and points at all the dummies TORIEL This room is full of enemies. You may think these are non-living test dummies, but they are not. They were souls who were so corrupted, they could not handle the power of their own body - so they left their bodies, as ghosts, and possessed these dummies. TORIEL So, in order for you to learn to guide yourself in the ruins, go over and strike up a friendly conversation with the dummies. FRISK runs back behind TORIEL FRISK But...I'm...But I'M AFRAID OF GHOSTS!

TORIEL Shush my child! You don't want to awaken the ghosts! Do you?

The Dummies suddenly turns their heads to TORIEL and FRISK. They seem unhappy and their bright red eyes scare FRISK, making him run behind TORIEL. The DUMMY then flies in front of TORIEL. DUMMY YOU FOOLS! TORIEL stands confidently with FRISK cuddling behind her DUMMY You think YOU pass by? YOU think you can just push us aside thinking you're the greatest?!? YOU just think 'Oh I'm going to save another human today, I guess I'm going to squish a few dummies or two'. Well, not today! We're tired of hearing your bull crap! Dummies, Let's TORIEL shoots a fireball at the DUMMY. TORIEL carries FRISK, and makes a run for it. FRISK starts crying. The DUMMIES chase her. THE ROOM OF SPIKES TORIEL, carrying FRISK run while the dummies chase her. They reach a field of Spikes, too huge for the dummies to pass through. TORIEL heads straight for the Spikes, and fortunately enough, the Spikes drop as Toriel runs through the Spike field. TORIEL and FRISK reach the end of the Spike field, and TORIEL puts FRISK down. TORIEL You have done excellently thus far, my child. However...I have a difficult request to ask of you. I would like for you to walk to the end of the RUINS by yourself. FRISK smiles for a second, then starts to frown

FRISK But...B...But I can't. Its toooo scaaarry! FRISK then drops on his knees and cries TORIEL Don't worry my child. I will be there for you. Always. Just remember, be good, my child. FRISK Really? FRISK then realizes he is hugging a rock. He is now in the RUINS by himself. FRISK starts to sit and cry, but then his heart lights up and he somehow has got the determination to survive. He gets up, and attempts to navigate through the RUINS on his own. NAPSTABLOOK'S ROOM FRISK enters an empty room, with torches lighting the way. This room is has more torches is brighter than the other rooms. Frisk then sees a small brightly lit hallway, with a floor full of red flowers. He goes towards the hallway, then bumps into something in front of him. He looks at what in front of him - and he sees nothing. He starts touching the air in front of him, and all of a sudden, a white pacman like ghost appears in front of him. He wears a fedora and he has an intense love for music. NAPSTABLOOK Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... FRISK Uh...Excuse me... FRISK taps NAPSTABLOOK NAPSTABLOOK suddenly wakes up NAPSTABLOOK Huh? Huh? Are they gone yet? FRISK Uh..... FRISK gives NAPSTABLOOK a patient smile. NAPSTABLOOK starts crying. FRISK starts crying too.

I usually come to the RUINS because there's nobody around. But today I met you! Oh..I'm rambling again...Here, I'll get out of the way. Sorry for the trouble. NAPSTABLOOK disappears. FRISK feels less afraid about the RUINS.
