Welding & Fabrication Instructor

Commensurate with Experience (Certified Salary Schedule)

Work Week/Year:

185 Days per Year

Requirements:

Must possess high school diploma and five years of full - time welding work experience and/or be able to obtain proper Ohio Department of Education Teaching Licensure; broad knowledge of welding applications, procedures, specifications, industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for classroom and laboratory instruction to students for employment or further education in the Welding Technology industry; developing program and course outlines; evaluating students’ progress and performance in attaining goals and objectives; maintaining program certification requirements; assisting in recruitment, retention and job placement efforts; ensuring safety and security requirements are met; work cooperatively with parents, school personnel, and the business community to maintain a program which meets Ohio Department of Education and industry standards.
