Paul declared with absolute certainty that Jesus had been raised from the dead. He argued that Jesus' resurrection is the centerpiece of our faith. Without Jesus' resurrection, our faith would be in vain. But since Jesus has been raised, our salvation is secure and our own resurrection is guaranteed. As we celebrate Jesus' resurrection this Sunday,, may we do so with the assurance of our victory over sin, death and the grave. Hallelujah, what a Savior!

HARRY’S HEARTBEAT – Here’s one from the old pro. Used without permission. A farmer who was a loyal church going Christian, went to the city to shop and while he was there he ate lunch at a cafeteria. He sat down at a table near a group of young men. When he sat down, he quietly bowed his head and said grace. One of the young sophisticates thought he’d have some fun with the farmer. “Hey, Pop, does everybody where you come from do that?” The old man finished his prayer and then he said to the young man, “No, son, the pigs don’t.” A magazine publisher once asked a number of prominent people all over the world what they wanted most in life. An architect wished for a garden and a greenhouse. An outstanding writer said he would be content if he had good g health. A wealthy socialite wanted a pet zebra. A best selling author wanted to be able to understand the language of animals. Perhaps the best answer of all was the man who said; “I would like to have an even greater ability to appreciate all that I already have.” “In In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
