With reference to Regional Memorandum No. 09, s.2015, Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) for SY 2015-2016 dated June 22, 2015 with the theme, "The Role of 21st Century Campus Journalists in Upholding Good Governance, Leadership and Transparency," the following changes are hereby notified: 1. That the date and venue of the RSPC for SY 2015 -2016 is December 8, 2015 at the Schools Division of Cavite Province. The contests venues and proctors shall be released in a separate memorandum. 2. That the orientation meeting of all the contests officials and committees is on December 7, 2015, 1:00 PM at the Schools Division of Cavite Province. During the orientation meeting, all concerned are advised to bring a copy of the Guidelines for the Individual and Group Contests stipulated in DepED Memorandum No. 9, s. 2014 (Enclosure Nos. 310 7). In order to get familiar with the mechanics of the contests, this Office expects each contest official/committee to read and clmd/JEL

understand the guidelines prior to the orientation meeting. Likewise, they are also expected to fully implement the contest guidelines as mandated. 3. That the participants may be accommodated on December 7, 2015 as per negotiation with the host division. 4. That the competition shall now also be open for the tertiary level, to be participated only by the officially registered School Paper Advisers (SPAs)/Coaches per category. As part of its initial implementation, each School Division must select only one (1) SPA among the seven (7) official SPAs/coaches listed per category to join in the individual contests. For group contests, such as collaborative, scriptwriting and radio broadcasting, all the four (4) official coaches listed/registered per Schools Division can form a team and compete as one group. 5. That the following changes in the schedule of the major activities for 2016 RSPC and 2016 NSPC are also hereby informed: UPDATED SCHEDULE - MAJOR ACTIVITIES FOR 2016 RSPC AND 2016 NSPC . -Date and Venue Activiiiii- I Persons Involved 1.
