Children may wear their own clothes and do not need any spending money. They are selling fast so get yours today! If you would like some envelopes to send money in with your child, they can be collected at the school office - this will save you time popping it into the office in the morning where there are often long queues. Update Bulletin 15th May 2017
Fidget spinners are not allowed unless they are approved by Mrs Chapman.
Internet Safety Recently there has been a version of Peppa Pig online that is violent. Can all parents be vigilant and are advised to watch and run through the programme prior to children watching them. ________________________________________________ We have received the following information from one or our local high schools "I am unsure whether or not you have heard about the game 'Blue Whale' which seems to be an in thing for the children at the minute. The game asks the childrent to complete 50 different challenges before they can win. The last challenge is to commit suicide to be able to win. This game is very dangerous as not all children understand the meaning of suicide and may attempt or succeed to be able to win." Please, if you hear your child talking about this, talk to them and also let us know and we can talk about it with their classes. If you would like any information regarding the ‘Walking-bus’ please speak with Sally or Beth. If you telephone and leave a message regarding your child’s illness, please ensure that you state what the matter is. Just unwell, poorly or under the weather is not acceptable. Thank you.
Reminder: No dogs are allowed on site Beacon Academy, Woodthorpe Road, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 2NF Tel: 01509 212227 Fax: 01509 213299 Email:
