existing facilities analysis East High School • Areas of the exterior parking lots and exterior façade needing attention. • Replacement of exterior windows • The MEP equipment serving the school is beyond its life expectancy reflecting 66% of the maintenance costs. • Interior of the building are outdated. • Limited number of areas of the building that are not accessible. • Toilets have been updated to meet the ADA requirements. • Grade: B Wauwatosa Area School District

existing facilities analysis Elementary Schools • Facades on a number of the schools need attention. Of particular concern is the west façade of Lincoln School. Numerous other schools have areas that need attention also. • Replacement of exterior windows • The MEP equipment serving these schools is beyond its life expectancy. On average the maintenance cost for these issues reflect 70% or greater of the total maintenance costs. • Additions to a number of the schools have addressed providing handicap accessibility to all floors but others have not. A number of the schools would require extensive modifications and/or additions to achieve accessibility. • Finishes are dated and in most cases cabinetry is original to the building.
