The service learning initiative benefits both parties – Students and SOSD. How is this a ServiceLearning initiative?
As the contributor of the service learning project, we are able to gain insights and experience on serving the community through fostering the relations between dogs and people. From the initiative, SOSD will be to reach out to more communities and increase exposure of the organisation’s activities.

participate in planning and providing suggestions, such as event planning for fundraising campaign. 2. The initiative allows us to step out of our comfort zone to help the
strays as well as to introduce animal-assisted activities to the community. Although the main beneficiary of the initiative targets the animals, it also contributed to the overall community as we reach out to the audience of various age groups to spread awareness. After special events, the team will reflect together by listing down ways of improvement and key learning points.
