DIEGO CHECA HIDALGO Spanish historian specialized in contemporary political affairs with a focus on the role of civil society in international politics, especially in nonviolent conflict transformation, international conflict management and socio-environmental conflicts. He held teaching and research positions at the University of Granada (Spain) and Coventry University (UK). He authored and edited several scientific publications and training kits on peace education, and he recently completed a project on socio-environmental conflicts and non-violent interventions supported through the Marie Curie Fellowship (European Commission). He is currently affiliated with the Centre for Peace and Reconciliation Studies, Coventry University (UK) and An Najah National University, Nablus (Palestinian Territories). ([email protected])

LUCIAN-ZEEV HERŞCOVICI Historian and specialist librarian (selection of books) at the National Library of Israel, Jerusalem, and Hebrew, Yiddish and Jewish history associate lecturer at the Universities of Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest. Shortly after he received his doctoral degree in history from „Paul Valéry” University, Montpellier in 2009, he was awarded the „Eudoxiu Hurmuzaki” Prize of the Romanian Academy. Among his works are Prezenţe rabinice în perimetrul românesc [Rabbinic presence in Romanian area], Hasefer Publishing House, 2008, with Baruch Tercatin; Entziqlopedyah leyahaduth Romanyah, Jerusalem, Mosad Harav Kook, 2012, three volumes, with Baruch Tercatin; Le mouvement de la Haskalah parmi les Juifs de Roumanie (PhD thesis, Université Paul Valéry, 2009, two volumes and a brochure); coordinator, with Yves Chevalier of the second number (10), vol. 5 (2012), of „ESSACHES: Journal for Communication Studies” (Communication et mémoire – Communication de la mémoire); editor, with Danielle Delmaire and Felicia Waldman, of the book Roumanie, Israel, France: parcours juifs; hommage au professeur Carol Iancu, Champion, Paris and Bucharest University Press, Bucharest, 2014 (two volumes). LEVENTE NAGY Currently Associate professor at Eötvös Lóránd University (ELTE), Faculty of Arts, Romanian Philology Department, Dr. Nagy specialized in Hungarian-Romanian cultural relations, the history of the Romanian Reformation, and the Romanian historical literature in Latin. He has published monographs about the Romanian Reformation, Luigi Ferdinando Marsili and the history of the Romanian Philology Department in Budapest. ([email protected])

BOB REINALDA Dutch political scientist, with studies of political science and social history, currently acting as Senior Researcher at Radboud University, Nijmegen and as member of the executive board of Research Committee 33 (The Study of Political Science as a Discipline) of the International Political Science Association (IPSA). He has published a book about the Bologna Process (2006, with Ewa Kulesza) and has written articles about the Bologna Process and political science. He has co-edited studies about autonomous policy making by, decision making within, and implementation by international organizations (with Bertjan Verbeek and Jutta Joachim). He has published the Routledge History of International Organizations: From 1815 to the Present Day (2009) and has edited the Ashgate Research Companion to Non-State Actors (2011) and the Routledge Handbook of International Organization (2013). NORBERT SABIC Doctoral Candidate at the Doctoral School of Political Science, International Relations and Public Policy, Central European University (CEU, Hungary). He is also affiliated to the Center of Education Policy (Serbia), where he conducts research in the area of higher education. His research focuses on higher education and innovation policies. CORNEL SIGMIREAN Professor at the “Petru Maior” University of Târgu Mureş and director of the “Gheorghe Şincai” Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities Research, Romanian Academy. His research focuses on the history of the Transylvanian Romanian elite formation and their studies at European universities.
