The March of Dimes largest fundraiser, March for Babies supports lifesaving research and programs that save babies born prematurely or with birth defects. Since its beginning in 1970, March for Babies has raised over $2 billion to help give babies a fighting chance. March of Dimes celebrated its 75th Anniversary in 2013, and March for Babies is expected to draw over half a million walkers nationally. Locally, over 25,000 people representing 200 companies and organizations come together in an effort to raise $2.5 million.
Get Involved
Walk as an individual or as part of a team. Ask friends, family, business associates and others to sponsor you by making a donation to the March of Dimes. Starting a March for Babies team is easy, just visit marchforbabies.org and click the “start a team” link to begin. Corporate sponsorships are available. For more information please contact Eva Lavine at 972-232-1348. Volunteer your time to help with day-of event activities such as staffing checkpoints, assisting with clean up or passing out refreshments. Please contact the March of Dimes office at 972-669-3463.
