These meetings are vitally important for teachers, as they allow us to share with you where your child’s learning is at and how we (together with your support at home) aim to meet their next learning steps.#

Scholastic Book Club Orders

This new system of reporting to you around National Standards was a requirement that we needed to implement, which was identified by the Education Review Office during their review of our school early in Term 1.# We will be seeking feedback from you all about these reports & interviews to help us best balance the legal obligations required, with what you feel were the pros and cons of the entire process.# We strongly value the partnership between Home-School in relation to helping students strive to reach their potential, which is represented perfectly in the following whakatauki…#

Rocky Shore Trip We are still planning on doing our Rocky Shore Trip. We are meeting today to organise another date where the tides will suit us. We will let you know as soon as possible of our new date.#

PTA Hangi Fundraiser Our PTA are organising Hangi’s for sale on either the 20th or 27th of June. They would greatly appreciate any donations of chicken drumsticks, cabbage and potatoes in the weeks leading up to these days. To pre order tickets please contact the school office.#

Northern Fuel Sponsorship Just a wee reminder to spread the word about the Schools Promotion that Northern Fuels are offering. The more people that know the greater our chance of securing more contributors.#

First Aid Kits As part of a school fundraiser we have First Aid kits for sale. For every First Aid kit sold the school receives $12. More information on how and when to order will come out next week.#
