REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) IRG/PDP/T2/COM/CSC/PESCO/2014/183 Renovation of Customer Services Centers of Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) Peshawar Circle, Pakistan All prospective bidders, The purposes of this Amendment No. 01 to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. IRG/PDP/T2/COM/CSC/PESCO/2014/183 for renovation of customer services centers of Peshawar electricity supply company (PESCO) Peshawar Circle, Pakistan is to 1) correct the RFP title 2) extend the proposal submission deadline, and 3) provide answers to questions submitted by prospective bidders. 1. Any guidance on Kitchen floor tile size if we may have overlooked? “Providing and fixing of 4" high approved skirting of used floor tiles in customer service area and supervisor room in CSC. Complete in all respects.” Used floor tiles needs elaboration. Already installed tiles while extracting would cause at-least 70-80% tiles breakage / damage and normally the same type of tiles are very scarce in finding from market? Preferred furniture brand names might be shared with us if possible (Chinese or other)?

Kimgrass Bone white (Cretesole) 2’ x 2’ Niro Granite gray (Cretesole) 2’ x 2’ For 1’x5’ tiles for stairs – Pure Blue granite natural stone Note: However, the approved sample may precisely determine the pricing and quality of tiles suggested by selected contractor. 12"x12" flooring tiles in washroom(s) and a kitchen area as mentioned in RFP “Already used floor tiles” basically refers to the new tiles to be used in renovation as existing tiles will be replaced with new ones and skirting will also be done with new tiles to be consistent

Proposed MDF partition for the Supervisor office Lipping is not suggested No intimation of drawer under the service counter if required then details are not being provided. Seepages & Leakages is an issue which have been observed during the visit need to be resolved on the permanent based there method suggestion and material need to be described by the Consultant Engineer.

Rafter on ceiling suggested material need to be more clarified. Ground Earthing PIT or Boring is not mentioned if it is required then provide details D.B details and design on the bases of PESCO/UPS/Generator not provided along with CB,s details and there make models as per the distribution plane of power . D.B.s Installation Location is not suggested where as old D.B, s is located on the purposed display walls (Referred electrical drawing E-01, The D.B. exact locations are not identified due to that exact measurements and casting is not achievable).

Exhaust & Bracket Fan Dia is to be mentioned. On the Entrance of CSC, no renovation work intimated except stairs.

For placing of new tile flooring. Is there need of exacting floor tiles dismantling or being fixed on the same surface What will be the IRG Tax or deduction procedure for this work. Will you only deduct W/H Tax which is only 4 percent or also GST? GST applies on a product supply but there is no supply this is completely a renovation services so only TWO options are there one is withholding Tax and the other is Services Tax. So which one

In RFP, Solid deeyar wooden lipping in drawings is mentioned and requested 02 drawers of 1’ x 5” x 18” for each CSR sitting will be required For CSC Hayatabad, there is no seepage issue, For CSC Saddar the seepage is because of the OHWT leakage and it is going to be changed (the tank specification is mentioned in BOQ) and for CSC HQ the seepage treatment can be clarified after the removal of the existing false ceiling. The treatment rates can be mentioned in miscellaneous charges. Rafters will be of gypsum Not Required D.B details and designs will be decided on site as proposed by selected contractor DB will be installed at the following locations.  In CSC Saddar- in 3’ wide corridor behind the sitting area.  In CSC Hayatabad – on the wall behind the supervisor sit from washroom area.  In CSC HQ - In the corridor outside the CSC area. Super Asia exhaust fans, Super Asia wall mounted bracket fans The elevation of CSC HQ is already covered in BoQ. However, no major renovation for CSC Saddar and Hayatabad is required, except the exterior tiles of CSC hayatabad might require some polish depending upon the requirement and Yes, it does require dismantle of existing floor tiles to fix the new ones Since it is a turnkey solution therefore only withholding tax will be deducted as per Tax rules. There are different tax rates for firm and individual therefore confirm tax rates before submitting proposal.

Are we suppose to add designs which is too much time taking part, or just a technical/financial proposal to be added to DVD so that you can have it in soft form? What is the payment procedure is there any chance that we could get some payment in advance and then get some after completing 50% work and remaining on completion of 100% work? (Special Requirement: All Contractors must attend the site visit prior to submitting their bid. If the Contractor does not attend then their bid will not be accepted.) This statement mentioned in the RFP document, we hope this remains same. Will only those vendors be consider for this RFP procedure who have visited the premises on mentioned dates or this criteria can be changed?
