Amendment No. 01_RFP187
Answer Please refer to Annex-I Ethernet handoff is required We require Layer 3 MPLS network. Bidders to suggest/propose other requirements Interconnect sites only. LAN deployment will happen under a different contract. The local connectivity within each location is through an Ethernet based Local Area Network Less than 70ms Last mile on Fiber media is the most preferred/required option but where this is not possible copper followed by wireless can be quoted. 99.9 % uptime. Each vendor to offer their Standard SLA terms and conditions in the proposal with 99.9% uptime requirements. As per our understanding, for the connectivity primary media would be optical fiber and secondary media would be DSL, Please clarify do vendor required to provide equipment (i.e. L3 switch or router) for auto failover Do vendor required any switch for the connectivity of LAN at remote sites Need confirmation of backup links at aggregation and spoke sites Confirm the bandwidth at aggregation site. Does IRG has routers available at all sites or we have to proposed What does this means (Nodes Manually calculated) GPS coordinates of all sites.
Answer connected to the HQ via secure dedicated links and able to access the ERP/CIS applications and other network services hosted centrally on the Servers located at the MEPCO HQ Data Center. OK - Ethernet handoff is required We are procuring routers vide our RFP # 172. Details can be viewed at Annex-I. As an alternate quote equipment that meet your solution requirements. PDP/MEPCO will arrange racks etc. See our reply to Q. No. 7 above We shall require a number of VLANs to meet IT deployment best practices. Selected WAN solution vendor will need to work with vendors implementing LAN, Datacenter and Applications etc. to ensure routing/connectivity between VLANs encompassing multiple remote sites. See our reply to Q. No. 13 above Annex-I provides the details of routers and router-cum-switches already under procurement vide RFP #172. If some specific devices such as Media Converters/GPONs and or Switches / Interfaces etc. are required for termination, these should be proposed separately. Propose backup links along with costing at hub and spoke sites separately. See our reply to Q. No. 10 above Annex-I provides the details of routers and router-cum-switches already under procurement vide RFP #172 The number of LAN nodes We will upload the coordinates separately as and when we are able to get them. See Annex-II for some details.
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED AND IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT End of Amendment No. 01
