September 2016 Dear Parents and Carers We endeavour to offer enrichment activities to students and part of the Year 7 curriculum includes Outdoor Adventurous Activities (OAA). This year Heartlands are offering your son/daughter the opportunity to participate in a trip to Bude, which is an activity centre in Cornwall. The Centre offers a huge variety of activities including surfing, climbing, abseiling, canoeing and teambuilding to mention just a few. The trip will leave Heartlands on Monday the 27th March and return on Friday 31th March 2017. The cost of the trip is £398 per pupil (£196) for pupils who are Pupil Premium), and will cover accommodation, coach travel, 3 meals per day, all activities and specialist instructors and equipment. It also includes evening entertainment such as camp fires, a disco and evening activities. If you would like to confirm your son/daughters’ place on the trip, please return the slip below and make a deposit of £50 on ParentPay by 30th October. This facility has already been set up online on Parent Pay, but if you need a bar code letter to pay via Pay Point, please ask your child to come into Reception and request one. The cost of the trip can be made in instalments but all payments must be made before March 2017. Alternatively you may pay the whole amount in total if you wish. Yours sincerely
