Dear New West Pride Partner, We’re coming out again in 2016, so save the date! New West Pride will shine throughout the city from August 6 through 13, 2016. Fresh from being crowned ‘New Westminster’s Best Festival’ and 'Newsmaker of the Year' in 2015, you can expect this year’s Pride celebration of our LGBTQ+ friends, neighbours and families to be the city’s biggest, boldest, and best festival of the summer. Again. 2016 Pride events are already starting to happen though out the city, and our growing calendar of Pre-Pride events will offer our early partners a long lead time and wide community access over multiple events. The main festival on Columbia street saw attendance almost double, from 13,000 in 2014 to 25,000 in 2015. We expect to break all of last year’s attendance records. Involvement in all our Pre-Pride events will offer our partners an expansive audience reach and extensive social media engagement. Attracted by affordable homes, historical character, and that friendly ‘New West Vibe’, the city is quickly becoming the hot, new ‘gaybourhood,’ of choice in the lower mainland. The local LGBTQ+ consumer base is growing very quickly, and sponsoring our range of Pride events and programming will showcase your community support. Our diverse community will support you back. We are very happy to meet your needs with a custom marketing plan, and have outlined our standard partnership opportunities below.
