Winter Fest
Honor Assemblies
Friday, January 13!
Club Estates will celebrate “Winter Fest” on Friday, January 13, to observe January 24 8:15: 2nd grade the conclusion of a wonderful first semester of the school year! This is also 2:00: 1st grade an early release day for CCISD. School will be dismissed at 12:02 PM to allow teachers to calculate six weeks grades and semester grades for our scholars. Pending school board approval, January 16 is a school holiday. January 25 8:15: 3rd grade 2:00: 5th grade Students will finally have the opportunity to enjoy the holiday parties they missed in December. We are allowing Cubs to wear their pajamas, just as we January 26 originally planned on “Polar Express Day.” Other exciting activities are being 8:15: 4th grade devised by teachers, staff, and room parents. Gifted and Talented testing for all kindergarten students will take place Monday, January 9. Kinder Stage 2 testing is scheduled for Tuesday, January 31. GT testing for students in grades 1-5 is scheduled for February 2 when online applications are submitted prior to the January 13 deadline. The application is available at www.ccisd.us. It’s time for the Club Estates Spring Book Fair! We will feature some great new book titles, fun gadgets, and activity kits . The book fair will be held in the library January 30-February 3. Students may shop during PE, after school, and on PTA night, February 2.

Look for the book fair schedule coming home in a couple of weeks. Parent volunteers are always needed to assist students. If you have time to volunteer please let our librarian, Mrs. Felts, know. Make plans to attend the spring book fair and remember to include tax when calculating cost of purchases.

We need your help! Students are being left at school in the morning before we have supervision for them. For safety, please ensure your child is not left before 7:30. Parents, when you check in for lunch you are only allowed to go into the cafeteria area. Thanks !
