All art history majors are required to write a research paper and give an oral presentation on a subject of their choice (ArtH 4999). This paper and presentation may explore a topic you have written about previously for Independent Study in art history, or for an art history class. The paper must be revised in consultation with the faculty member for whom you originally wrote. That faculty member will attend the oral presentation as well as read and approve the final version of the paper, a copy of which will be kept on file in the Art & Design
