Tiger Summer Camp Cathedral-Carmel School Let’s ROAR through Summer! Summer will be here before we know it, and we would like to offer an opportunity for your child(ren) to have some fun with us this summer! Cathedral-Carmel is offering a summer day camp – Tiger Camp. Tiger Camp will be held from June 4, 2018 through July 27, 2018. Camp will be closed on July 4​th​. Camp hours are from 7:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m. with after-care available until 5:30 p.m. for an additional fee. Children ages 4-10 (entering PreK4 through 5th grades) are invited to attend. Children are welcome all summer, or you can choose the weeks in which you would like to attend. Tiger Camp will include fun jumps, water slides, and field trips throughout the summer. Daily activities will include the computer lab, science lab, library, arts & crafts, gym games, and outdoor fun. We will also have special guests throughout the summer. All activities and field trips are included in the tuition cost. Tiger Camp registration form ​is linked . Registration is a one time, non-refundable fee of $40.00 per child, which includes the required t-shirt. Additional t-shirts may be purchased for $10 each. Tuition is $130.00 per child/per week, with the exception of the week of July 4​th when tuition is $100.00 per child. Weekly payment is due the Wednesday prior to the week your camper(s) will attend. Registration will be limited to only 350 campers. We ask that you register by March 31, 2018 to guarantee a spot for your child. A $10 late fee will be added to the registration cost if it is turned in after March 31​st​. The registration fee is required for all campers. Payment can be made by check written out to Cathedral Carmel School. Registrations will not be accepted after June 1st. We will have “Open House” on Tuesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 3rd from 5:00pm - 6:30pm in the CCS gym. At this time, you can pick up your child’s camp shirt, get the first week’s schedule, and make payments. Camp directors will also be available for any questions you may have. Tiger Camp General Information Office / Contact Information: Tiger Camp Office hours are from 8:30-2:00. The office can be contacted at 337-88-TIGER (337-888-4437). Unless there were to be an emergency, please do not call the camp office before 8:30 or after 2:00. Before 8:30, time is spent preparing for the day and morning assembly. Time after 2:00 is spent finishing the day and preparing for dismissal. You may also contact us through email at [email protected]. Drop off / Pick up: Morning drop off begins at 7:30 a.m. at the gym doors on Versailles Street. The counselor will open the car door for campers. Parents do not need to get out of their cars for drop off. Afternoon pick up begins at 3:00 p.m. at the Versailles Street gym door. Campers will be called out. Parents do not need to get out of their cars for pick up. Doors close at 3:15 p.m. or when the last car leaves. Car riders who are late will be brought to after care. Parents who arrive late will have to come check out their child. If a camper is not picked up by 3:30 p.m., you will be required to pay the drop-in fee ($10) at the time of pick-up. After-Care: After-care can be contacted by phone (337-88-TIGER) from 3:30-5:30. The after-care fee is $10/day and includes an after-care snack. After-care closes at 5:30 and must immediately vacate the campus. A late charge of $10.00 will be added at 5:35 p.m., and $1.00 for every minute after 5:36 p.m. After-care pick up will be at the side of the cafeteria. Entrance can be made through the gates on Versailles Street. An ID must be presented when checking a camper out. Campers must always be signed out. After-care fees must be paid by Friday of each week or on the last day of the week in which your child will be needing after-care. Drop-ins must be paid when picked up on the day after-care services are needed. Late Arrival/Early Pick-Up: Campers need to be on campus by 8:10. If you arrive after the gym doors have been closed, please call the office phone at (337)888-4437 for office personnel to give you access. Please do not ask counselors or campers to open the door/gate for you. Late arrivals must be brought to the office by an adult to be checked in for the day. On field trip days, we ask that all campers arrive before 8:00 a.m. to insure that they do not miss the trip. Campers who need to leave early can do so prior to 2:00 p.m.. Parents must inform the office that their child will be picked up early. When picking up a camper early, please call the office at (337)888-4437 upon arrival. At this time, the camper will be brought to your vehicle by a counselor or an office administrator. Parents must always check in with the office upon entering the campus. Parents who come after 2:00 to pick up their camper(s) will have to wait until dismissal time (3:00).

Lunch/Snack: Campers must bring their own lunch. Cathedral-Carmel is a nut free campus. No food items containing peanuts or foods processed in a plant which processes nuts are allowed on campus. Snacks are optional. Gum is not allowed. Water bottles brought from home are allowed. Please label clearly. Food/drink will be sold at snack time for $1.00 each (limit 2). Parents must pre-pay for snacks. Money should not be sent daily with camper. Dress Attire: Camp t-shirts must be worn daily. One t-shirt is included with paid registration. Additional shirts may be purchased for $10/shirt. Shorts of choice may be worn. Only closed toe shoes are allowed (preferably tennis shoes). All 4 and 5 year olds will have a daily rest time. Please bring a nap mat. Please label all belongings. Field Trips: All expenses for field trips are included in the weekly tuition. Please do not send any extra money with campers for field trips. Transportation for field trips will be by school bus or by foot for downtown trips. Sunscreen: Sunscreen can be applied at camp by the camper. Tiger Camp does not provide sunscreen. Please send sunscreen labeled clearly for your child. Medicines: Consumption of oral medicines will not be distributed to campers without written consent from parent/doctor. All medicines must be brought to camp office in original container and clearly labeled with camper’s name. Medicines are not kept at camp overnight. Asthma Pump/EpiPen: Asthma pumps and/or epipens can be kept in the camp office throughout duration of camp. All asthma pumps/epipens must be clearly labeled with camper’s name. Extras:

No electronics, phones (including Apple watches), or toys are allowed at Tiger Camp. Any electronics, phones (including Apple watches), or toys that are brought by a camper will be kept in the Tiger Camp office and will have to be picked up by a parent.
