The research of immunocontraception have done in ZP3 of several species, but have not been done in ZP3 of goat. In preliminary study antibody of gZP3 was effective prohibited of fertilization of mice oocyte in vitro. The aim of this study was to prove the potency of gZP3 antibody to prohibit attachment of sperm to oocyte of mice in binding assay technique. Antibody against to gZP3 produced on mice (Mus musculus). Immunized mice serum was analyzed using Elisa and dot blotting technique. Serum of immunized mice supplemented into M-16 media for oocyte incubation. The result showed that value of optical density of immunized mice was higher (p<0.05) compared to the value of optical density of serum before immunization. Dot blotting analysis showed that antibody of immunized mice could recognize gZP3 protein. Serum of immunized mice, which was supplemented in media of mice oocyte, resulted in decreasing (p<0.05) the binding rate between mice sperm and mice oocyte compared to the control group. It conclude that gZP3 protein was effective as immunocentraceptive on mice (Mus musculus) as a model. Key word (s) : goat zona pellucida-3, binding assay.
