Parochial School Registration ● Registration information was mailed to
parochial schools to be distributed to families living in the Triad School District ● Parents need to call the THS guidance office to make an appointment to register ● Parents may begin calling on February 13th and appointments will begin on February 27th ● THS guidance office: 667-5408 x7125

Registration Information ● On Feb. 17th & 18th, middle school counselor Mrs.
Mesnard, Mrs. Brendel and Mrs. Houchins will be doing a presentation at TMS about high school courses and going over the online course booklet. ● On Feb. 23rd we will be at TMS to register students. ● Students will take a copy of the registration form home for parents to review and sign. Changes can be made on the form before returned to the middle school. ● The math, science, English, health/PE, and homeroom/lunch will be already determined in the schedule. Students/Parents will need to decide on two credits worth of electives by the time their student registers on Feb. 23rd. Band will be in addition to the electives.

THS - Placement Guidelines for the Class of 2021 Map-Score Cut-Offs for school year 2016-2017 Please use the following cut-scores for placing students into English, Math, and Science courses. Students will be placed in courses based upon the following criteria: 1. Math, Reading, and Language Usage RIT scores a. NCAA Requirements Cont’d As of, August 2015, high school athletes will need a 2.3 GPA to gain immediate access to competition their freshman year of college. NCAA GPA is calculated using NCAA core courses only. Student will also need to successfully complete 10 of the 16 total required core courses before the start of their seventh semester in high school. Seven of the 10 courses must be successfully completed in English, Math and Science.
