Consequentto issue of Board's clarification on exemption vide letter dated 0310312015, NFIR vide lettersdatedI 310512015 & 2510512015 had lodgedprotestagainsrrhe arbitrarydecisiontaken by the Railway Board in violation of the ugr.ero.ttl reachedwith the Federationin the PNM meeting.At the sametime, the Federationhad requestedthe Railway Board to withdraw the letter dated 0310312015 and restore instructioni dut"O 0611112006 immediately. In addition, the Federationhad apprisedthe Railway Board that there are a numberof employeeswho had clearedPart-l Pup.. of Appendix-3 IREM Exam and waiting to clear Paper-ll, and if the revised instructionsare impiernentedthe said staff will have to reappearafresh,which is notjustified. Besides above, Federation desires mention following repercussion of Board,s instructionsdated03I 03l20I 5 :It can be seenthat benefitsof passingPart-I of Appendix-3 Examinationin 2006 was requiredto be extendedfor subsequent2l3yearsbut howeverthe facility has beenallowed now for only two years- (namely 2010& 2012). There are large scalevacanciesin the cadreof SO/ISA/TIA due to attrition. This has been adversely affecting the working system. Candidateswho have passed P-art-lExam alreadyhave got rich experiencein diverseareaof Accountsworking. If benefit of one more year is extendedto Part-l passedcandidates,it would leduce the pressureon these candidatesand would eventually help in getting pased the 2015 Appendix-3Exam. NFIR is surprisedto note that the Railway Board have issuednotification vide letter No. A(E)/A3l20l5lll2 dated 0710512015 addressedto all GMs and others for holding when the issueis in the to 0310912015, Examinationon the changedpattern from 2410812015 NFIR/PNM agenda. Federationonce again urges upon the Railway Board to consider the points raised above besides communications sent to the Railway Board and keep in abeyance the notification dated07I 05I 2Q15, pendingdiscussion. Action taken in the matter may pleasebe advisedto NFIR without loss of time.
