Topic Proposal Reflection At first the topic proposal was difficult to start, as i did not know what topic to really begin with. This was my first topic proposal to write so it was all a new process for me to do. The process of deciding what topic I wanted to write about was hard until i spoke with another classmate and he explained what he was doing. This gave me a better understanding of what the topic proposal was and pointed me in the correct direction in order to begin. So i started with border security, as this has been one of the more interested topics for me as a criminal justice major. In fact, I would probably go as far as to say that the class I had with Dr. Wigginton on Border Security has been my favorite class here at Ole Miss. The border security issues for this country are a very important topic to me, and I feel that this topic needs to be addressed more. Many people do not understand the danger posed to our security by the problems going on at the border.  My topic proposal addresses these safety issues in a clear and concise way i feel. I do hope my topic proposal can help better shed some light on this issue for anyone that reads it. The review by Anthony Oliverio was also beneficial to my process on this final. I also had my roommate review it for me and he was able to find some grammatical errors that I have not seen, which is an added benefit when finalizing the topic proposal.
