Biografie musici van het NNO- kamermuziek Gaudi Ensemble Xander Wadman studeerde viool en orkestdirectie in Groningen, respectievelijk bij Jaques Meijer en Alfred Salten. Hij behaalde aan het conservatorium in Amsterdam het einddiploma solospel bij Herman Krebbers. Nadien had hij nog lessen bij Victor Liberman. Hij is aanvoerder van de tweede violen van het Noord-Nederlands Orkest en is remplaçant bij o.a. het Concertgebouworkest. Hij is met name in het noorden regelmatig solistisch te horen. Xander Wadman speelt een viool van J.B.Vuillaume(1874). Kees Dekkers studeerde viool bij Bela Dekany en altviool bij Erwin Schiffer. Hij volgde meestercursussen bij S. Collot. Van 1971-1975 was hij aanvoerder van de altviolen in het voormalige Frysk Orkest. Van 1975 t/m 2011 vervulde hij dezelfde functie bij het Noord Nederlands Orkest. Hij gaf les aan de conservatoria in Enschede en Groningen. Kees speelt op een zelfgebouwde altviool. Jos Kerssemeeckers studeerde cello aan het conservatorium van Maastricht bij Johan de Nobel en vervolgens bij Tibor de Machula. In januari 1976 werd hij solo-cellist van het (toenmalige) Frysk Orkest, deze functie vervult hij nu bij het Noord-Nederlands Orkest. Jos Kerssemeeckers speelt veel in kamermuziekensembles, en hij vormt sinds 1980 een duo met Peter Korpershoek (contrabas). Frank Brouns studeerde hoorn bij Peter Hoekmeijer aan het Utrechts Conservatorium. In 1985 behaalde hij het diploma uitvoerend musicus. Hij nam deel aan internationale meestercursussen onder andere in Trossingen, Wenen en in Weimar bij Peter Damm. Van 1986 tot 1991 was hij 3e plaatsvervangend hoornist bij het Radio Filharmonisch Orkest te Hilversum. Naast zijn werk als orkestmusicus is Frank Brouns actief in de kamermuziek in de meest uiteenlopende bezettingen en stijlperiodes. Hij werkte mee aan diverse eerste opnames van kamermuziekwerken en trad op in Duitsland, Frankrijk, Spanje en Nederland. Frank Brouns trad op als solist in werken van Mozart, Larsson en in Brittens Serenade voor tenor, hoorn en strijkorkest met het Noord Nederlands. Sinds 1991 is Frank Brouns als eerste hoornist verbonden aan het Noord Nederlands Orkest Orkest en vanaf 1995 is hij als hoofdvakdocent hoorn verbonden aan het Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen.
