Scoring and Cutting the Box – using the 6” x 11” piece of Watermelon Wonder 1. Score on all four sides at 1”. 2. Score along the long side at 5” and then 6”. Your piece of card stock should then have score lines as per the above diagram. 3. Burnish all the score lines with a Bone Folder. 4. Cut along the along the score lines from the long edge to the first 1” score line on both the top and bottom and then snip a piece out. See picture below.
5. Turn the card stock over and fix Red Sticky Tape on each of the tabs. If you are using Fast Fuse, you might want to do this after you have stamped the sides and lid otherwise you may find it sticking to you. See picture below - Apologies for the bits of paper stuck on one tab, the Red Sticky Strip has a habit of collecting bits while in my bag.

Birthday Blossoms Pizza Box Tutorial Decorating the Box 1. It’s much easier to stamp or glue card stock/designer series paper etc. onto the box before you put it together. For my box I chose to stamp the box lid and sides in Watermelon Wonder using the Birthday Blossoms stamp set. If you would like to decorate using Designer Series Paper you need to cut 5 pieces. One measuring 3.75” x 3.75” (for the lid) and four measuring 0.75” x 3.75” (for the four outside sides).
2. Once I had stamped the box, I used the 7/8” Scallop Circle Punch to punch out a half circle on what would be the front of the lid, because it makes it easier to open the box. If you do not have this punch you can use any other small punch.
3. With the stamping and punching done, it’s time to put the box together. Start by putting the base of the box together first. Please note that the four tabs go on the inside. Then make the lid (two tabs on the inside), making sure it flits snuggly over the base.

Birthday Blossoms Pizza Box Tutorial 4. It’s now time to decorate the box further. I did this by firstly wrapping some Watermelon Wonder Ribbon around the box. I fixed the ends together underneath by using two punched shapes of matching card stock.
5. Then I used Whisper White and Cucumber Crush card stock to further decorate the front of the box. I stamped a greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto one of the 3”x3” pieces of Whisper White. You can then fix it to the 3-1/4” x 3-1/4” piece of Cucumber Crush.
6. I wanted to be able to slip the ribbon on and off the box, which is why I used the Watermelon Wonder punched card stock to fix the ends together underneath the box. But I also used a piece of 3”x3” Whisper White under the Ribbon on the front. You can then stick the ribbon to it and then mount the other card stock on top. Be careful to put the adhesive on this piece of the Whisper White and not the Cucumber Crush as this piece is slightly smaller and you don’t want the whole thing sticking to the box.

Birthday Blossoms Pizza Box Tutorial I also chose to add flowers that I had stamped onto Whisper White card stock using Watermelon Wonder ink and the Birthday Blossoms and co-ordinating stamp from Petite Petals and punched these out using the Pansy and Petite Petals punches. The leaves were stamped onto Cucumber Crush using Cucumber Crush ink but I had to cut these out by hand. I used a Bone Folder to give added shape to a few of the flowers and glued them together with Multipurpose Glue before sticking them onto the leaves and then onto the Whisper White card stock that already had the greeting stamped on it in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I finished the flowers off with some of the large Basic Rhinestones in the centre.
