Dear Boston Exhibition
Open through Sunday, May 11, the collaborative exhibition Dear Boston: Messages from the Marathon Memorial honors the one-year anniversary of the 2013 Boston Marathon and includes a selection of artifacts from the makeshift memorial created in Copley Square. The exhibition's organizing partners include the Boston City Archives, Boston Art Commission, New England Museum Association, Iron Mountain, and Boston Public Library. Dear Boston is on display in the McKim Exhibition Hall at the Central Library in Copley Square. Learn more via www.bpl.org/dearboston.
Concerts in the Courtyard
For one week in April, the Central Library's open-air courtyard is filled with music during free, lunchtime concerts. All concerts begin at 12:30 p.m. Scheduled artists include:
Monday, April 14 - Amaryllis Chamber Ensemble Wednesday, April 16 - Daniel Acsadi Thursday, April 17 - American Century Music, featuring Gabriela Diaz Friday, April 18 - New England Conservatory Saturday, April 19 - New England Conservatory Concerts in the Courtyard return for their regular summer season in June 2014.

Author talk with Robert J. Wicks, Wednesday, April 16, at 6 p.m. in the Commonwealth Salon. Wicks’ latest book is Perspective: The Calm Within the Storm. Author panel with Scott Helman and Jenna Russell, Thursday, April 17, at 6 p.m. in Rabb Lecture Hall. Boston Globe reporters Scott Helman and Jenna Russell are authors of Long Mile Home: Boston Under Attack, the City’s Courageous Recovery, and the Epic Hunt for Justice. Moderated by WBUR’s Deborah Becker. Aftermath: A Photographic Reflection on the Boston Marathon,Saturday, April 19, at 2 p.m. in Rabb Lecture Hall. Photographer Joshua Touster shows a selection of images and reflects on the 2013 Boston Marathon.
Our Marathon & More
The "Our Marathon" project is a crowdsourced digital archive of stories, photos, videos, and social media related to the 2013 Boston Marathon. It is a community project hosted at Northeastern University. From 12 - 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, through Saturday, April 19, visitors can add their own stories and photos to the collection by visiting the Orientation Room at the Central Library in Copley Square.
