Responsibilities: Responsible for applying pesticides in support of landscape maintenance and landscape construction operations.
Organizes, schedules and performs specific on-site job tasks efficiently. Accurately identify the target pest, calibrate equipment and apply pesticides according to recommended label rates. Complete reports, maintain equipment and chemical storage area. Supervise and train personnel in safe pesticide application. The Pest Control Operator may be asked to conduct annual pesticide training as required by the State. Possess and utilize good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees and managers. Must be able to read and write English. Must possess a valid California drivers' license with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier. Must currently be a licensed Qualified Applicator and attend continuing education programs to keep license current. Must have an agricultural B.S. degree or minimum of 1 year practical experience as a licensed Qualified Applicator
