Three more „protesters‟ were killed when the CRPF allegedly opened fire during clashes with protestors in Anantnag as violence spread to south Kashmir. With separatists giving fresh calls for strike, life remained crippled across Kashmir valley, including Srinagar, for the fifth consecutive day. In view of the violence due to clashes between public after a call for strike by separatists and police, mobile services in North Kashmir and SMS service in the entire valley were blocked.
