Kind attentionis invited to NFIR's letter dated 0110512017 in reply to Board's letter dated 24/0112017 with regardto provisionof Direct Recruitment,LDCE & PromotionQuotafor filling the postsof StationMaster GP 4200lPayLevel 6. As the GP 2800,1Pay Level 5 no longer existsin the StationMaster category and entry Grade Pay being GP 4200lPayLevel 6, there is no need to continuethe systemof Traffic Apprenticeinduction. NFIR further statesthat due to non-issuance of guidelinesfor filling the vacanciesof Station Master in GP 4200lPayLevel 6, the staff promotionsare delayed,therefore,the Railway Board shouldtakequick actionon the subject. I\IFIR, therefore,requeststhe Railway Board to expediteactionand issueinstructionsto the GeneralManagersof Zonal Railways duly taking into accountthe commentssentby NFIR vide letter dated01/0512017.
