Guests present: Vince Giammusso's sister Janice Potential New Members: None The minutes of the April 16, 2011 meeting were read by Vince Giammusso, Sec. Motion to accept minutes as read was made, seconded and passed. In the absence Treasurer, Shirley Starsinic, the Treasurer's report was presented the Mike Horner, President. The President ordered that the Treasurer’s report be filed for audit. WAGONMASTERS REPORT: June 16-19, 2011 WM - C & P Krone Castaways, Berlin, MD Call the campground (410-213-0097) and ask for Brenda. This is a three day rally however the campground has indicated that they probably will be able to accept a few two night reservations for those who cannot attend for three nights. Rate will be $64 per night. Be sure to give them your rig length when you make your reservation. The Krone’s would appreciate hearing from all club members as to whether they plan to attend or not attend the June rally. Krone’s not present to give update. Update given by Nancy Horner. Check-in Thursday will be 2p; check-out Sunday is 11a. Meeting room reserved for Thursday night lite supper from 530p-9p this will be the get together night, Friday is a free day(camp ground offers us free ice cream Friday night), Saturday campground offers free pancake breakfast 8a-930a, our meeting will be 930am , covered dish dinner will be 6p, Sunday breakfast will be on your own. July 22-24, 2011 WM - V. & N. Giammusso Holly Acres, Egg Harbor City, NJ This will be our annual seafood fest with Blue Claw & Dungeness crabs. Refer to previous email sent by Vince for reservations. DO NOT call the campground direct. 9 coaches reserved so far. Deadline is June 21st.
Aug. 12-14, 2011 WM - G. & J. Regan Cherry Hill Park, College Park MD Call campground for reservation@ 800 801 6449. Reservations must be in by July 1, 2011. Rate will be $54 per night. Regan’s not present to give update President Horner read email from Regan’s. Wagonmasters will be arriving Thursday, August 11. Let wagon master know when you make the reservation so they will have a count for the Bull Roast steaks. More information to follow regarding weekend schedule and menu for the Bull Roast. Sept. 9-16, 2011 WM - M & N Horner Lakewood Campground, Myrtle Beach, SC This will be a week long Buddy Rally. The club will pay for an empty site next to the WM to use as a gathering place for club functions. Mike again stated as of now the new policy assessing $25.00 for prime ocean front sites will not affect clubs. However if they do assess us, I feel it is too late to change so we will pay it this year and look for another campground next year. Let wagon master know when you make the reservation and give him your assigned site #. Oct. 14-16, 2011 WM - J. & S. Parker Flory’s Cottages & Campground, Ronks, PA Our main function will be an auction on Saturday, which will probably be open to campground (will try to get Bob Sechrist as auctioneer). Bring you sellable items. Will probably go out to dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. More details to follow. Nov. 11-13, 2011 WM - R. & K. Meacham Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg, PA This will be our annual Turkey Fry and minute to win it game (had a blast last year). Group reservations made in name of Chesapeake Allegro’s. Phone the campground (717-334-3304) for reservations. Let wagon master know when reservations have been made. Dec. 9-11, 2011 WM – J & S Parker Fenwick Inn, Ocean City, MD Due to change in Wagon Master, more details will follow at a later date.
OLD BUSINESS: 1) Vince Giammusso reported that he still has a large selection of Tee Shirts in various sizes and two colors, white and gray. The whites Tee’s are $6 ($8 for XXL and XXXL). Gray Tee’s are 50 cents more. NEW BUSINESS: 1) President Mike read email from Shirley Starsinic. Shirley stated that her status has changed. She is with Bob Timko and living in Florida and plans on selling her coach. Shirley will be at the Myrtle Beach campout at which time she will sign over all “Treasury” related items to a new Treasury not yet named. Shirley will be changed to an Emeritus member. I for one as I am sure you all feel the same, will really miss Shirley and we wish her well. 2) President Mike read email from Bob and Millie Sechrist. They stated they are selling there “Tiffin” coach and could no longer be active members. They have made many friends and enjoyed participating in club events. They will be keeping their 5th wheel in Naples and anyone wishing to visit them during the winter months is welcome. We all wish them well.
3) Ron Meacham asked about Tiffin Rally. Rally will be held 9/26 to 9/30 in Foxboro, MA. CA members attending so far are Giammusso’s, Laubach’s, Parker’s and Radle’s
GOOD OF THE CLUB: 1) President Horner motioned to move the Sechrist’s to Emeritus status. Motion seconded and approved. Secretary will revise roster to reflect this change. 2) Nancy Horner reported “fine” money removed from pig, $22.00 to be deposited in our account. 3) Mike fined $0.75 excessive use of profanity (According to Bob Lineman). Mike deposited $1.00 into pig, has a $0.25 credit. SICK AND INJURED: Deb Fickert had Rotator Cuff Surgery and is currently in therapy. We wish her a full and speedy recovery.
