Child Find Notice The Juneau School District conducts Child Find activities throughout the year. These activities are designed to locate students who experience special needs between the ages of 3-21. Special needs identified include: cognitive impairment, specific learning disabilities, emotional disturbance, deafness, hearing impairment, orthopedic impairment, visual impairment, speech or language impairment, other health impairment, multiple disabilities, early childhood developmental delay, autism or traumatic brain injury. If you know of any children who fit these criteria or that you have concerns about and wish to refer them for special services or obtain more information, call Student Services at 907-780-2071.
