$15 / $10 ELIGIBILITY, CONDITIONS & LIABILITY Entries must be original & entirely the work of the artist.
Artist retains all copyright on work. Entries must not be copied, derivatives, or based on other copyrighted material. If possible, include a photo of your artwork with your artwork submission form. Any work exceeding 50 pounds in weight will need to be reviewed prior to the day of the show. Artwork containing excessive gore, promoting violence and hate, drug use or anything deemed pornography is subject for removal and will not be shown. If you are concerned about acceptance of your work call COFA coordinator at 530.893.3336. We reserve the right to refuse any work. Please contact Stonewall 530.893.3336 for artwork submission/pick-up dates and times. The artist is responsible for delivering artwork to the event location during the drop-off hours. The artist is responsible for retrieving artwork from the event location during the pick-up hours specified by Stonewall upon inquiry. Every reasonable precaution to protect artwork will be taken during set-up, exhibition, and removal. Artwork should not be so fragile that public display would be potentially harmful to the work or the viewer. Artist agrees to allow accepted work to remain with the exhibit until the close of show. Artist agrees to pay submission fees (nonrefundable) of $15 for each general submission, $10 for each student submission, up to a total of four art pieces per artist. Fees are due with submission form. We accept cash, check, credit/debit, and PayPal.
Agreement: Submission of the entries, whether by Internet, standard mail, or hand delivery, shall constitute an agreement on the part of the artist to comply with the conditions set forth in this submission form, including the following; I hereby release and discharge the Stonewall Alliance of Chico, event committee, and volunteers from any and all claims associated with damage or loss of artwork. No work accepted for this exhibition may be withdrawn prior to the closing of the exhibition. Permission to reproduce the artwork for promotional and educational purposes is granted. All decisions of the COFA Planning Committee are final. By signing this document I agree that I have read the above and agree to the eligibility, conditions, and liability.
