ACCREDITATION All competitors are required to carry with them a photocopy of their passport or other form of governmentissued photo identification to prove correct identity if requested. These should be taken into the boat with the competitor as all winning crews will be checked on the presentation pontoon. There will be photocopy services available at the Accreditation Office (see map Detail - 6). However to reduce delay, competitors are encouraged to bring their own copies. Competitors will be provided with a lanyard and plastic pouch for the photocopies. These will be available for collection on a whole-club basis at the Accreditation Office. Start procedure The start will be given by the “Traffic Lights” start system. For further information on the start procedure please refer to the FISA Rule Book - Edit. Feb. 2013.

Control Commission Location, opening hours The Control Commission Tent is situated between pontoon 3 and pontoon 4 (see map Detail – 21) The tent will be open during all competition days.

Crew Changes and Withdrawals Crew changes and withdrawals can be made from 14:00 pm on Tuesday September 8 at Regatta Administration (see map Detail – 1 ground floor room 2). Crew changes forms and Crew Withdrawals forms, available at the Regatta Administration, must be completed and submitted at the Regatta Administration no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the first race of the event. As per the FISA Rules of Racing for Masters Regatta, a substitute shall not be permitted if the age of the substituting rower would result in the lowering of the average age of the crew by more than one year or would change the age category of the crew. No seat fee refunds are offered to crews who withdraw from the regatta, or for seat fees in events that are cancelled.

Collection of Bow Numbers Before the race Bow numbers should be collected from the Control Commission tent, maximum one (1) hour before the start of the crews race. After the race Control Commission members will collect the bow numbers at arrival at the pontoons.

Coxswain weighing Coxswains shall only be weighed at the specific request of the Jury. If required, a scale shall be located in the Control Commission Tent (see map Detail – 21). It is the responsibility of the coxswain to have the required minimum weight (eventual solid dead weight (not more than 10 kg) included).

Uniformity of the crews As per FISA Rules of Racing for Masters Regatta, composite crews shall be required to wear a standard uniform across all members of the crew regardless of club, including coxswain. This rule shall not be enforced for Mixed Events.

Medal Presentations Medals will be presented to the winning crew of each race. For multi-age events, winning crews in each category within the race will get medals. Once the race is finished, the winning crew(s) shall be directed, by the marshal at the finish tower, to round the buoy and attend the medal presentation pontoon near the finish tower (see map TRV). Medals will be presented to winning crews in their boat after identity has been checked and confirmed, before returning to the unboating pontoons. TEAM FACILITIES AND SERVICES

Trailers Boat trailers (unloading or loading) have to come in front of the boathouse (see map Detail – 3) or beyond the main building (see map Detail – 5b). Access will be only given when there is sufficient manpower available from the boat owning club! The tow vehicle remains attached to the trailer while unloading/loading. After unloading, trailers will be taken immediately to parking 4 (see map Detail – P4). This parking is free of charge.

Boat Storage Racking area The boat racks are situated on the main grass field of the actives area and the area beyond the main building (see map Detail – 5a + 5b). It’s strictly forbidden to park a car, trailer, caravan, tent or mobile home between the boat racks!!!

Racking The allocation of racks for all boats will be made by the O.C.. Team managers should contact the boat area responsible in the Regatta Administration (see map Detail – 1 ground floor room 2) as soon as their boats arrive. There they will receive detailed instructions. If using hired boats, please contact the responsible of the Filippi Boat Rental Base (see map TRR - Boat Renting Filippi).

Launch Pontoons Competitors Crews must go on the water by using pontoons 3 , 4 and 5, farthest away from the finish tower. To come out from the water crews must use pontoons 1 and 2, closest to the finish tower. During competition, crews are allowed to go on the water at the earliest 45 minutes before their race.

Jury Jury pontoon is the smallest pontoon (pontoon 0), situated near the finish tower (see map TRR). On this pontoon umpires have to take their launches.

Boat repair Repair area The boat repair area is situated beside the upper road of the racking area 5a (see map Detail). Boat repair services from the main boat builders are available.

Changing rooms Changing rooms and showers are situated behind the boat houses (see map Detail - 2).

Sanitary facilities Toilets are situated on the following places: - main building ground floor (Detail 1) - main building first floor - main building near the gym - in the changing rooms (Detail 3) - near the boat racks (Detail 15) - near the Bloso chalets (Detail 13) - parking 3 and 4 2015 World Rowing Masters Regatta

Ergometers Ergometers for training, warming up or cooling down, will be provided in the upper room of the main building (see map Detail – 18).

Coaches viewing During training Coaches will be permitted to cycle beside the course, using the lower road when going to the start and the upper road when going to the finish. Each cyclist is responsible for his own safety and should respect the pedestrians walking along the road.

During racing Coaches will be permitted to cycle beside the course, using ONLY the lower road.

MEDICAL FACILITIES AND SERVICES

Medical center The medical service and the doctor are available in the medical centre (see map Detail - 7) from the opening of the course on Wednesday September 9 08:00 am till the daily closing time of the course.

Dental services Dentists are to contact in : - Heffen 015 / 217843 - Mechelen 015 / 412450 - Antwerpen 03 / 4492252 The service is at the patient’s charge.

First aid service, ambulance, local hospital First aid Will be provided in the medical center (see map Detail – 7)

RESCUE AND SAFETY

During Training The rescue service will start operating from Wednesday September 9 – 08:00 am, during the official training time. Up to two rescue boats will be patrolling in the neutral lane when the course is officially open for training.

During Racing Rescue boats will be stationed along the course. They will start operating 30 minutes before the start of the first race of the day until after the finish of the last race.

ANTI-DOPING CONTROL

Location The Anti-Doping Control Center is located in the main building ground floor (see map Detail – 14)

Procedure Please refer to the FISA Rule Book – Rule 93 and Bye-Laws to Rule 93. The latest IOC list of Prohibited Substances is found on the WADA website : www.wada-ama.org and is also available in the Competitors’ Information Centre (see map Detail – 6) TRANSPORT AND PARKING SERVICES FOR TEAMS

Transport arrangements for the teams Transportation office The transportation office is situated in the building near the boathouse, ground floor, 1st door at the right (see map Detail - 22).

Transport to the regatta venue A shuttle service will be provided, Time Table and Bus Routes are available at the transportation office (see map Detail - 22).

Transportation of boats and boat trailers Teams should inform the O.C. of their boat arrival dates. Loading of trailers will be permitted after the finish of the last race on Saturday September 12 and Sunday September 13. All boats must be removed from the boathouse area before midnight, Sunday September 13.

Competitors and Public The Duvel Marquee, located near the finish (see map Detail – 12) will be the social hub of the regatta and will provide ample food and drinks for lunch and snacks. Lost and found The lost and found service will be provided in the Regatta Office (see map Detail – 1 ground floor room 2).

Equipment exhibition The vendors’ exhibition tents are located at the Merchandise area (see map Detail – 17) . OFFICIAL CEREMONIES AND SOCIAL EVENTS

Opening Ceremony The Opening Ceremony will take place on Thursday September 10, 07:00 pm at the Duvel Marquee (see map Detail – 12). Competitors and spectators are invited to attend. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Victory ceremony Location In front of the Duvel Marquee at the Victory Ceremony pontoon (see map Detail - 11).

Time Immediately after the finish of each race

Masters Party On Saturday September 12 at 08.00 pm in the Duvel Marquee (see map Detail – 12). Registration for the masters party has to be done through the registration module and closes on midnight of Friday September 4.

FISA – Data Base Members of FISA – Data Base have their office in the main building (see map Detail – 1 ground floor room 1).

Masters Rowing Commission Members of the FISA Masters Rowing Commission have their office above the Boathouse (see map Detail – 3)

Jury Room Is situated in the main Building (see map Detail – 1 ground floor room 1).

Transport to/from accommodation A separate transport will be organised daily for FISA, Masters Commission and Jury members living in Crown Plaza Hotel Antwerpen.

Parking FISA – Masters Commission – Jury – O.C. Entrance via Hazewinkelstraat at the North border of the Center and follow the indications towards parking P2 (see map Detail – P2).

Catering FISA – Masters Commission and Jury members will receive free lunch and dinner during the period of the competition.
